    why screenshots "Screenshots (Installation, Desktop, Malware Scan).png" in previous and current versions are nearly identical (even the cursors in the same positions) but with updated icons, lables etc? Seems unnatural and photoshopped :\

    Hello all, do the extras and patch integrators need to be burned/put into the XP ISO? Or are these files to be used after installing XP?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      infuscomus · 1 years ago
      @Dan
      you run the patch integrator script on your main PC and it makes a new XP ISO image that'll work better on newer hardware.

      The extras are separate from the XP ISO.

    Hi Ramsey,
    I just install your nice XP on a Lenovo Thinkpad x230 Tablet.
    I get really everything to work, even the pen for the tablet.

    with WinSetupForUSB I simply get a BSOD 0x0000007B

      @Ramsey I am using a Samsung 850 PRO this has nothing to do with the NVMe subject.
      I have used Rufus to burn the ISO onto the USB pen drive but I can't get past the EULA screen.  I searched a bit on google but none of the possible solutions works to me.
      the original XP ISO works just fine...

      @Nescafé Rufus doesn't work correctly with Windows XP and an original Windows XP will never work on a SATA/NVMe drive without adding the correct driver. And use the WinSetupForUSB tool with the new created ISO from the Patch Integrator.

    hello
    I found it funny because this ISO was based on 360EE v11 and not v13
    I have been using the russian fork myself as an alternative to the Serpent 52 although never liked the v13 because it used to crash very often just like the original Firefox prior to the 52 ESR

    I won't uninstall the 360EE v11 because it served me well for years but I am liking the american fork V13 better because it never crashes ( BSOD is normal sometimes because the original chrome 49 had similar issues) and so far it's the fastest browser I have ever ran on XP.

    early version of Mypal 68 was unusable due to BSOD but last time I surfed the web with the new release it was OK but I feel it's slower now and not comparable to the 360EE v13 (american fork)

    facebook, twitter or reddit... this american fork is awesome for these heavy load sites, so until Mypal 68 proves me wrong I won't be using it and will keep using Serpent 52 as my primary browser because I am a fan of FF layout

    I am checking out what would the best hardware be for a good browsing experience
    since modern mobos don't have official XP drivers I have not decided between AMD FM2+ or AM3+ socket with a 4,6 or 8 core CPU.
    I am currently using a Phenom quad core Black Edition

    hello.
    the date is not correct 2022.16.16 Changes:
    I did read NVMe drivers.
    can you tell me (or share a link of other users) which NMVe is compatible and has a software utility for XP ?
    I ask this because modern mobos with NVMe socket have no official drivers for XP and they are all based on UEFI.
    I know the Samsung 950PRO which's been discontinued long ago and even hard to find NIB on ebay stores was an exception for XP use

      Ramsey · 1 years ago
      @Nescafé Typo fixed.
      And you need to use the Patch Integrator to get it working on modern hardware.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      infuscomus · 1 years ago
      @Nescafé
      the date is correct for the day of release.

      NVMe drivers that work are included with the optional patch integrator script,
      No software utility for XP as fart as I'm aware.
      XP will work just fine on a UEFI system if CSM mode is enabled.

      hope this helps.

      @infuscomus @infuscomus how do you install this patch ?  is it an automate patch that can be activated when installing XP integral with a USB pen drive or do I need to fit the NVMe into a W7,W10 machine firstly ? any motherboard with NVMe socket and official drivers for XP ?
      I don't look for a PCI-E card with NVMe socket

    Hi Ramsey,
    Thank you for the great job you did (of course, all along but also) and effort employed with this latest version of XP Integral Edition. This seems like a definitive version to me, with gains minimal to come from here, but you never know with folks like Dietmar and Mov AX, 0xDEAD! I have donated but will donate again as soon as finances permit due to the excellent quality of your releases.
    All the best,

    I am currently on windows 11. Is it possible to create a partition for this windows xp and install it there and use easybcd for dualbooting afterwards
    • This commment is unpublished.
      infuscomus · 1 years ago
      @xplegacyfan
      This is possible, but the XP installer is going to overwrite the boot sector with NTLDR so you'll need to run /fixboot and fixmbr off of the windows 11 install media to restore it to working order.

      It's doable though, just a pain.

      @infuscomus I have installed XP integral but now I can not access the W7 partition.
      I fixed this with the W7 ISO (boot up repair) but when I do this it's the XP partition that becomes unusable..
      how can  work this out ? I have no problems with other XP ISO's

      Yes, I know that if I turn off one of the drives when I install Windows this problem would not exist but I don't want to plug and pull the power supply cables back and forth

      @infuscomus You can also try this tool for dual boot repairs. Ive had some success with it on the many dual boot systems I have. https://www.boyans.net/dual-boot-repair-windows-10.html
