serkan, sorry serkan, the xp integral is made to suit all not just for your specifically selfish needs. If the wireless driver is incompatible or usually missing install a driver which is OEM or from website if manufacturer. After an install I have to intall LAN driver, audio, but thats it. You people make me laugh with your selfish ignorant demands! Buy/use another system if you doing like.

New subscriber here, I must say very nice and clean website, not clunky and not overly abusive LOL, text is crisp and clear. Also would like to say thanks to whomever made this XP integral edition , I am looking forward to checking it out, I love XP and sad to see it support dying off. Hope to see a community for Unofficial service packs/updates like windows 98 does.

How do I manually update Basilisk? The installer complains that it needs Windows 7. The portable version won't run, as XP complains it's not a valid Win32 application. Thanks.

Click in Basilisk on about and then "What's new" and then download the first Zip-Archive file and extract the files into the folder "C:\Program Files\Basilisk-UXP", but close Basilisk before you overwrite the files.

In your opinion Ramsey once XP has reached no more of its Microsoft updates stage next year how safe will it be to continue using it? I'm curious to know. In any case most exploits seem to be IE browser based rather than netframework patches etc.

For anyone interested, this cannot be installed on newer AMD Ryzen - it has both ACPI and AHCI BSOD errors.

Yep most new chips will not have any Windows XP driver support anymore.

Making instalable XP USB from windows is relatively easy. How would one go about doing so from linux?
This is if say, you are caught with your pants down without a handy bootable USB and have a dualboot XP and linux config, with the latter being used for offline maintenance of the former.

If i remember correctly then you have to install Windows XP first and then at the Linux installation option "Prepare disk space" you should have an option to setup the dual-boot.

Well, the linux installation can be later be made accessible with grub4dos after successful windows install, or via booting from other drive. The problem here is making a bootable XP iso from linux environment.

I don't have a tool by hand for Linux but you can always install VirtualBox and do it from their and then also test the Dual-Boot in VirtualBox before doing a live Dual-Boot.

You only need a 64-bit Operating System if you have more then 4GB of RAM, and if you have that much of RAM then you better of using Win10 64-bit.

In the ReadMe file is a tutorial on how to install WinXP with an USB Flash drive but it is more complicated than installing a Win10 with an USB Flash drive.
If you have a Disc Drive then i would recommend to use that one instead of a USB Flash drive for WinXP.
