      @Rickz Did you try this settings below? I added them already in WinXP-IE 2023.6.16.

      @Ramsey you mean ? : layers.mlgpu.enabled = false
      layers.omtp.enabled = false
      browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory = true

      haven't try but can't understand how pressing  a close (X) makes XP crash badly.. this can't be a safely browser until these bsod problems are solved.
      also , sites like netflix don't work since ask for html5 , mypal don't have html5 ??

      @Rickz Yes this settings have fixed the BSOD for some people.
      MyPal 68 also supports HTML5 but NetFlix uses copywrite protections and i think that doesn't work with Windows XP.

    @Ramsey,

    0. First of all, THANK YOU FOR ALL THE EFFORT! You literally saved me from doing the same project as I'm a big fan of Windows XP and plan to use it at until least 2038. I'm really considering to donate.

    1. Will you update Multilingual Pack along with new WinXP-IE releases?

    2. Can I hope for a distribution of the latest Microsoft Office for XP from you? :)

    3. Why "Launch folder windows in a separate process" (from "Folder Options") doesn't have any effect whatsoever? Bugged update or smth?

    4. Typo in ReadMe.txt: "5. You can restarted" (correct is "restart").

    5. Patch Integrator have a visual glitch when it finishes: https://s1.hostingkartinok.com/uploads/images/2023/06/dc3cd5ade9b89865cabe0b3427b96132.png

    6. "Toggle [X] to Start" in Patch Integrator can be semantically confused with pressing the close button. :D Maybe something other (Space/Enter/...) would be better?

    7. Please consider adding note somewhere about Patch Integrator that it generates A NEW ISO BASED ON THE VANILLA ONE, and doesn't install anything on the current system, because it's really VERY counterintuitive atm.

    8. Maybe it's worth updating list of countries in Regional Standards? There's no "FYR Macedonia" anymore, for example.

    9. Maybe it's worth updating default fonts with their newer versions from newer Windowses?

    10. Consider adding these rare NTVDM fixes as optional ones:

    - intelvidfix.zip - A patch that fixes a glitch in the BIOS of some Intel VGA onboard graphics adapters
    https://superuser.com/questions/943966/dos-program-has-8-second-delay-on-startup-under-win-7
    https://softclipper.net/clipper-faqvopros-otvet/programma-dos-imeet-5-8-sekundnuyu-zaderzhku-pri-zapuske-pod-win-7.html

    - videoprt.zip - Videoport driver patch for VESA in NTVDM
    https://www.phatcode.net/downloads.php?id=196

    11. I can't install Guest Additions in VirtualBox 6.1.44 with the latest WinXP-IE, after reboot it results into black screen just after loading screen. Do they work on other VirtualBox versions? (I use 6.1.44 because it's the latest one for Windows 7.)

    12. Could you plese add somehow "Device Manager" in the right click menu of "My Computer" please?

    13. How about adding WinXP support for NTFS symlinks in post-install menu? The "Link Shell Extension" could be also useful, it's compatible with it.
    https://superuser.com/questions/117127/using-symbolic-link-in-windows-xp
    https://schinagl.priv.at/nt/hardlinkshellext/hardlinkshellext.html#legacy

    Thanks in advance!! And please sorry for poor and non-proofread English.

      @blackdoomer 1. Yes the Multilingual Pack will also be update if there is anything that can be added.
      2. The last LibreOffice for Windows XP will give you more functionality than Office 2010.
      3. The launch folder in a separate process, will avoid crashing all folders when one folder crashes.
      4. Typo fixed.
      5. That visual glitch Batch bug is coming from the "cdimage.exe" file.
      6. The Batch tool "choice.exe" only supports A-Z or 0-9, so Enter or Space key can not be used.
      7. I had planned to add a message like this but forgot to add it. 😅
      8. Microsoft has remove Macedonia from the Time Zone list with the latest Time Zone updates.
      9. The "Microsoft European Union Expansion Font Update v1.2" and the  KB2756651-v2 are already updating the fonts. Anything else is more of an experiment.
      10. I could add the IntelVidFix installer to the Extra Zip folder. But preinstalling it has not effect because it will be overwritten when a user installs the Intel Graphic Card driver. And the Videoport driver will causes another problem, see KB960921 section in the ReadMe file. We would need that Videoport patch for the KB917332 (videoprt.sys) update.
      11. Yes the Guest Additions on VirtualBox v6.1.44 is bugged for Windows XP but v6.1.42 works fine.
      12. I will add this to the "Windows XP - System Settings.reg" file. Below is the code.
      13. I really don't see any real use for this NTFS symlinks. It only makes thinks more confusing for normal computer users. It's another Microsoft invention that no one uses, except themselves. 😅

      Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

      ; Adds "Device Manager" in the right-click menu of "My Computer".

      > 3. The launch folder in a separate process, will avoid crashing all folders when one folder crashes.
      I know what this option does. %-) What I meant is that it doesn't work in the latest build - all folders are still launched in the same explorer.exe process, regardless of this option being set.

      > 6. The Batch tool "choice.exe" only supports A-Z or 0-9, so Enter or Space key can not be used.
      Okay, but maybe then replace it with any other letter that doesn't resemble neither a crossed close button nor a Cyrillic X? For example, something like "J", "L", "S" or "Z" would be good, as they're clearly distinguishable from anything.

      > 8. Microsoft has remove Macedonia from the Time Zone list with the latest Time Zone updates.
      Well, but I'm talking about "Regional and Language Options" window from Control Panel, not "Time Zones". The lists of countries there are slightly outdated.

      > 13. I really don't see any real use for this NTFS symlinks. It only makes thinks more confusing for normal computer users. It's another Microsoft invention that no one uses, except themselves.
      It's pretty debatable. Symlinks are quite a thing in the *nix world, that's why Microsoft has implemented them too. They are used quite often by programmers, including myself. The main benefit of this would be greater compatibility with partitions of newer versions of Windows, which could be important in case of multi-boot.

      Dear Ramsey, but that's not what I'm talking about! I meant that when I turn on MANUALLY the "Launch folder windows in a separate process" option in "Folder Options" window (which is BTW corresponds to the 'CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced:SeparateProcess' registry key, not to the 'CurrentVersion\Explorer:DesktopProcess' you referenced, which is different), it has NO effect. Everything is still opened in the same process (I see always only one explorer.exe in Task Manager). I also tried to set 'DesktopProcess' (both together and instead), but that not helped. This could be related to some buggy update of explorer.exe or somewhat.

      Also I've mentioned a typo in the "Windows XP - Profile Settings.reg" file:
      "Sytem Performance" - must be "System Performance"

      @firleo A link for this is in the "Recommended Programs.txt" file.
      To per-install this this, is probably not a good idea.

    Hello Ramsey! First of all thank you! o)
    Is this correct? The default ISO from the download, it will not work with an Athlon-XP CPU, because it does not have SSE2? Win-Setup fails for me at some point (Registering Components..), I wonder whether it's the SSE2 thing.

    I tried the patch integrator script on my Win10 setup to remove SS2 updates, unfortunately it fails as well (in the ---[ Final Steps]--- section). Is this normal? I already tried the patch integrator as well in the past, at that time it did not work either. I'd like to make it work, maybe you have an idea?! o)

    This is the cmd output:
    --------------------------------[ Final Steps ]--------------------------------

    Adding Patch to disable Auto ReBoot on BSOD after GUI-mode Setup . . .

    Copying modified WinXP-IE files into the Temp folder for digital signing . . .
    The system cannot find the path specified.

    Creating catalog file 9-WXPIE.cat . . .

    Digitally Signing catalog file 9-WXPIE.cat . . .
    The system cannot find the path specified.

    Adding catalog file 9-WXPIE.cat to the Windows XP Setup source folder . . .
    The system cannot find the path specified.

    Deleting Temp folder in the Compile folder . . .
    D:\WinXPProSP3\Patch Integrator v3.5.0\_compiling\_temp\catalog - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

    Creating new ISO file . . .
    The syntax of the command is incorrect.
    --> END OF OUTPUT ------------------------------------------------------

    I ran the cmd in this path: "D:\WinXPProSP3\Patch Integrator v3.5.0"
    Are there any prerequisites I need to have installed or something?
    Thank you! o)

      @tb23-athlon Yes AthlonXP CPU's don't have SSE2 support.
      I also never run into such a problem on Win10 or Win11.

      @Ramsey Ok, thank you! o) I got the patch integrator to work now, on a freshly installed Win10 system, it created a new ISO file with "*..(Customized Option; F).iso" suffix.
      However, the WinXP setup now shows a message right at the beginning. After copying some driver files it stops, it does not get to the license F8 screen.

      "3waregsm.sys in [SourceDisksFiles] section is missing or corrupt."

      A file "3WAREGSM.SY_" is present in I386 folder on the disc and it seems to be fine (can be copied).

      Thank you, appreciate your response! o)

      @tb23-athlon It's a small bug in a regex code.
      You can select the option "E" to overcome this problem or use the fixed "*.cmd" file below.

      @Ramsey Ramsey! Thank you, it worked! I have successfully installed on the AthlonXP with your patched cmd-file, wonderful! o)

      Regarding the problem with the "Patch Integrator" whenever I tried it. It seems the "Options Menu.cmd" only works correctly when double clicked. I always open CMD and change to the directory of the bat/cmd file before executing it, but "Options Menu.cmd" does not like that. It will throw a lot of errors. It took me some time to figure that out! o) Normally changing to the directory of a script helps to prevent errors, not this time! o)

      Thank you again, wish you all the best and please keep them IE releases coming, much appreciated, see you! o)

    I tried using Resource Hacker and tried to copy accets from ntoskrnl.exe of a VM install of XP SP1 and transplant it into a VM of either a vanilla install of XP SP3 or a VM of XP Integral, I deleted and replaced the backups in all the places I thought Windows would hoard files for self-healing.
    No luck. same ugly post SP1 boot screen.
    What I learned is that in the post SP1 boot screen, the graphics for the copy write date and Professional are just missing from ntoskrnl.exe. I tried to put them back, I even transplanted a virgin SP1 copy of ntoskrnl.exe into the the VM of XP SP3. No luck, ugly bland boot up. But no blue screens even after all my butchery.
    I guess nobody knows the secret BBQ sauce to make a SP3 install of XP look nice N sharp like it did before SP2. I guess I have to pretend like its still 2004 and use Windows XP Pro SP1. Thanks pros!

    I hope the next edition has the XP SP1 startup screen restored AND the AI up scaled hires Bliss wallpaper too. Don't fumble the ball bro, its a sweet QoL finishing touch.

      @Getting pissed off The Windows 2000 installation screen give you more correct information on what is being installed than the fancy Windows XP installation screen which also eats up CD space.

      @NESCAFÉ Post your hardware specifications of your computer. And also try to remove the SSE2 updates with the Patch Integrator.

      @Dietmar @Dietmar are you kidding ?
      I have no problems with the genuine XP ISO and patch integrator.
      this only happens with XP integral edition ISO.

      @Ramsey Acer Veriton VX4630.
      why should I remove SSE2 updates if the CPU actually supports this feature ?
