    HI DEAR,
My flash memory was in NTFS format
When I connect to your windows,
    The flash has been broken
What was the reason? Can I repair it?
    thank you

It happened to me too for one of my flash drive when it locked itself up to being read-only despite having no write-lock while I was experimenting flash drive efficiency with various file system. Most likely what happened was that my flash drive "expired", maybe. I can't say for sure with your flash memory without further details such as what sort of flash memory is it, what you mean by "broken", what exactly happened to the point it broke, etc.

Can Outlook Express just not be removed in Next release? It's crucial for some other things too.

In Show Updates is no list where you can see which ones have been installed. So how do I know if they were installed?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 6 months ago
You don't see them in the Show Updates menu because they are slipstream. You can check which once are integrated by doing this:
      Registry -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates\Windows XP
      CMD -> qfecheck /v

If I install 2019-06-15 version, I have HD Audio devices in Device Manager and I can install the appropriate driver. However, if I install the last two versions, there are no HD Audio Devices in Device Manager, so the driver cannot be installed and there is no sound. Please check what could be changed between these versions which makes unrecognised motherboard audio devices. Thanks.

I've installed the latest version deselecting DriverPacks. There is no HD Audio Device in Device Manager. This is logical, because this was the case also with the January version. Let me remind please that in June 2019 version everything was OK.

Shouldn't hdaudio devices already appear, especially since the hd audio bus driver and inf files exist in the ISO (especially since Microsoft has integrated HDAudio Bus support in Service Pack 3 so you don't have to use the hotfix meant for XP SP2. Note that you still have to install the actual audio drivers by yourself.

Thank you for this beta version. There is still no Audio devices in Other devices section, but it recognizes my RAID volumes and the Intel USB 8C31 controller. It lists also 3 unknown devices in System devices section which are not present after installation of original WinXP SP3. While they have different Hardware Ids, they are the missing audio devices. I could update the driver of 1 of them with the appropriate Realtek driver.

That means you could now install the normal Realtek driver and the sound now worked like in WinXP-IE 2019.6.15 and the previous once?

This is only if you have a NVMe driver and if you have one then you should try the one that works for you. If both work then use 1.5.

This version does not recognise Intel SATA RAID volumes. It did not install the LAN drivers for Intel I210/I219 Ethernet controllers. In the previous version Intel RAID and I210 were supported. There is no audio in both versions (Realtek ALC1150/ALC887).

The Generic SATA/AHCI dose not support RAID but after the installation did it not install the Intel SATA driver back? And did you installed the Realtek sound driver for Windows XP.

I wanted to install it to a RAID volume, just like in previous versions. The driver packs are still in the ISO, but the mass storage drivers apparently are not used. And what about the LAN driver for I210? Thanks.

The DriverPacks BASE MassStorage is not integrated anymore at the installation stage because the Generic SATA/AHCI works on more SATA controllers. If you want RAID mode at the Windows XP installation stage then you need to slipstream your RAID driver with nLite into Windows XP (Tutorial in ReadMe file).

I understand. However, what is the purpose to add to the ISO?

Why did you add mass storage drivers not used during the installation? Also, please try to find the reason for the LAN driver issue with I210. With January version it has been installed, but not now.

I would have but the DriverPacks BASE modified ".\I386\setup.exe" file is incompatible with the Generic SATA/AHCI driver and will lead to a Blue Screen Error during the Windows XP installation.

Did you run into the same BSOD with the modified setup with the Ryzen edition ISO? (have you tried that yet?)
in Virtualbox I got BSOD F4 at stage 2
VMWare and real AMD B350 worked fine

I get a BSOD but it's not the same one because the SATA driver from the DriverPack is being used.

I forgot to mention I'm the one who made the modded ryzen edition ISO, and that's not KB951126 thats a patched hal that diderius6 and daniel_k had made to address an ACPI timer issue on newer intel systems.
I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, diderius6 knows more about it

Nice if you have any other modded files feel free to upload them.
I'm working an a WinXP-IE Optional Patch Integrator which has a selection menu to integrate the different Patches.

there's also a >4GB RAM PAE patcher program daniel_k made - WinPAE 2.0 - it should be in the ISO file I sent you earlier
this one should definitely be optional.

I have a that one too but what is the /4gb switch exactly doing comparing to the /all switch? And were their not 2 USB 3.0 drivers?

from what i understand the /4gb option is a safe option that keep some device drivers from failing, apparently some drivers fail when using the /all option.
The most recent USB 3 driver version is the 276 version i think

I'm a bit unsure on this one - diderius6 uploaded it one day and i'm not entirely sure what the differences are with this one.

though I have tested it on my AMD ryzen system and it works at least.

Its confusing because he didn't add any version number to his files.
I also don't know what the latest WinXPPAE.exe version is i have 1.1.0.0.

I know what you mean - the thread got too large and it got very hard to keep track of everything that was put out

                                            there is a winxpPAE 2.0 mentioned here - https://www.win-raid.com/t4035f45-Windows-XP-Bit-and-Server-Bit-on-Modern-Hardware-242.html#msg96981

the download link is gone but a copy should be on that ISO I sent you (I can send it separately if that's easier)
