I've just confirmed a suspicion that I've had for the past few weeks: when an animated GIF is set as the wallpaper or viewed in Picture and Fax Viewer, it DOES animate more slowly than it's supposed to. I know it's not a system resource issue because they animate at the correct speed when viewed in Mypal. It's not a problem universal to XP, because I never had this problem with legitimate copies of XP. Could you figure out exactly what part of the package is causing this error and fix it?
One of my Facebook friends says that the problem is the version of Internet Explorer that you include.

Reversing back to IE6 will not solve the problem. Did you try the universal (standard ) WinXP with all the Updates included the POSReady updates? This problem sound familiar but i can't remember why.

        Katie · 16:11 25.06.2019
I don't know what you mean by "Universal" XP.

I just tried opening a GIF in Internet Explorer and it suffers the same slowdown. My friend was right; it's an Internet Explorer issue.

I now installed the standard Windows XP SP3 with no updates and it has the same behavior. So this is a Windows XP issues not a WinXP-IE problem.

The Internet Explorer that is include is the standard IE8 for Windows XP. You can even reverse back to IE6 in WinXP-IE, but this will not solve the animated GIF issues. Either this a normal Windows XP behavior or it is a HotFix problem or a Ported 'dll' problem.

            How do I downgrade IE?

Search in the ReadMe file for "RollBack". But you need a original Windows XP CD/ISO to do that. But like i said it will not solve your issue because it"s simply how Windows XP displays GIF animations (Frame Delay).

Unfortunately, all of my legitimate 32-bit XP disks went missing long ago. I have only XP x64 Edition and Integral Edition.

nLite is only used for remove stuff. And you will find the language packages on the internet if you really need them.

Hello Ramsey, thank you for doing this nice work but I have a sad problem: As soon I see the "welcome" screen the first time, nothing happens. when I close explorer.exe and execute it, it continues but fails again soon so I have to re-do it. This program choice pops up but installs some of the programs with unexpected crashes and at the end, explorer keeps on crashing as soon I see the desktop. I hope you can fix this major problem in your next release. Also Rip Movie Maker lol ;_; AMD Sempron 2300, 1,5 GB ram, Nvidia GF6200 A-LE, Vinyl AC97 Audio, VIA Rhime II Fast Ethernet, 35 GB IDE Harddrive. I may test this on other machines and report when unexpected stuff is going on again.

Having the exact same problem. P3 1GHz, 512MB SD ram, Geforce 2MX.

Doesn't do anything on first boot. Just a blank screen with cursor. When I reset the computer it continues to the program choice window. Then almost all of the installers that use Windows Installer functionality crash with error report window. When the installation of the additional programs "finishes" (with half of the software failing to install), explorer.exe crashes in a loop continually, making the OS unusable.

Can you post the error message.
Did you upgrade or did you do a fresh instantiation? and do you have this problem also with the previous WinXP-IE?

        hellothere · 07:52 23.06.2019
This is the first time I try your thing actually. Fresh installation, I can't post an error message right now im sorry but it shouldn't hang or simply stop doing at all after "welcome". I'll retry one more time in 8~ hours.

          hellothere · 18:44 23.06.2019
Okay. I see runonce.exe and 3Xmsiexec.exe running after the welcome screen. When I terminate all of the msiexecs it continues and passes the DriverPacks stuff, however msi installer still fails. PotPlayer is funny, sometimes the setup fails, sometimes the program itself. Explorer.exe crashes all the time with its gdiplus.dll whatever. Booting Windows XP in safe mode always works fine.

Hello. How much RAM can I use with this edition?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 19:39 16.06.2019
A 32-bit Operating System will only use max 4GB of RAM. A workaround would be to use RAM Disk.

That could be it Ramsey, region dependent. So if the user ticks PotPlayer in Integral additional options the adware won't install as it is not there in the version you streamlined? I prefer to use Windows Home cinema stillstill, but wanted to try out PotPlayer in your newer version of Xp. Thanks.
